Downtown Senior Session
I’ve lived in the somewhat sleepy little town of Livingston, Texas, for nearly 13 years. Yikes, I can’t believe it. I’ve been a photographer for most of that time, and a few weeks ago, I did something I’m sheepishly ashamed to say I’ve never done before.
I shot a senior session in downtown Livingston.
To be fair, most of my work has been in flowery fields, stands of pine trees, beautiful churches, and I’ve never had a client ask for a session downtown. But let me just say I’m glad someone finally did.
We took to the streets and explored the best alleyways and hidden spots I’m sure I’ve passed hundreds of times. My designer and photographer's eye found color, texture, pattern, and history. It turns out the session was a blast, and I will subscribe for future excursions downtown.
