Kirstin + Donn Engagements: Bridal Extravaganza Winners

When I started to get to know Kirstin she told me about living in New York before moving to Texas. What a change, right? I wanted to hear more about her life in New York. Of course, she proceeded to tell me how she was a broadway performer before leaving the Big Apple. You have my attention. We chatted away about some of the shows she was in, and ultimately how she ended up in Texas, where she's now a high school dance teacher. Could her career be any more goals? To top it off, she's marrying a handsome firefighter next month, and I'm so excited for this sweet couple.

But the real story is how this engagement session came to be. Kirstin met me at Houston's Bridal Extravaganza back in January. She humored me and took a photo for Instagram, entering herself into a drawing for a free engagement session with me. Nobody ever wins those things, right? Not in her case. We met up at the Mercer Botanic Gardens in Humble last spring (mask and all—remember Corona? Oh, that awful thing). And well, I'm in love with how these turned out.
