Michaela's Bridals
I’m a photographer, and I love what I do. So to say I get excited before a shoot is a true statement. But every once in a while, a shoot comes along that really makes me shout, “Yes, please, and when?!”
Enter Michaela. I was already set to shoot her wedding in December of last year. But, we had planned on taking her bridals a month or two before her big day.
Side note: I can’t recommend bridal portraits enough. It’s the best way to “test drive” your dress, your hair, and your makeup before your wedding. It’s also a chance to get lots and lots of special shots of the bride. Wedding days are hectic and full of nerves, and a bridal session makes sure we have a fun photoshoot without the two aforementioned factors.
Back to the tale. As Michaela and I were talking about her bridal session and planning, she said she had wanted to take photos on a horse. My creative brain immediately saw a stunning bride, a beautiful Texas pasture, a horse, and golden hour light. Sign. Me. Up. I have to say, none of us were disappointed.
