Puckett Maternity Session

This gorgeous friend of mine is expecting not one but two sweet babies this summer! A couple of weeks ago, she texted and said, “I feel like I should go ahead and get some maternity photos done, so I don’t regret not doing them.”

To which I replied, “Please, yes. Come over.”

You might have remembered me talking about all the reasons why you should book a maternity session. So if you need a refresher, here it is.

It was about time for us to mow the pasture behind our house. It was still full of wildflowers, and the bull nettles were still there with bright pink/purple flowers—who knew it could be so pretty?! I asked my husband to wait a few more days because I needed to get Kaitlin's maternity session, and I didn't want to miss the wildflowers.

We managed to dodge ants, poison ivy, and snakes and ended up with a swoon-worthy maternity session.

P.S. Golden hour, my friends. This is why I'm a stickler on when we shoot because you can't recreate gorgeous natural light like this.
